During this Webinar, speakers from USDA's Food and Nutrition Services, Westat, Project for Public Spaces, and the University of Washington discussed the evolving role of nutrition programs in expanding access to nutritious foods for low-income families at farmers markets. The presenters highlighted recent studies on the adoption and impact of nutrition assistance programs at farmers markets, the effectiveness of methods to promote low-income participation in farmers markets, and evaluations of ongoing barriers to participation.
